Kata’ib Hezbollah, widely regarded as Iran’s most capable Iraqi armed group ally, has intensified its public messaging in the lead-up to the elections. At the end of the first week of November, two statements issued consecutively on the 6th and 7th by senior Kata’ib Hezbollah commanders underscored how the group is mobilizing its top leadership and taking notable risks to bolster its de facto political wing, Harakat Hoquq, which is contesting the elections.
In a video posted online on November 7, 2025, Jafa’ar Al-Husseini, Military Spokesman of KH, made a rare physical appearance in a campaigning theatre stage held by Harakat Hoquq for its Baghdad running candidate Hussein Saddam (number 13).
